When something has to be gone today, call or text and we'll tell you straight what we can fit in. A sudden move, a cleanout that came up with no warning, a room you need back by tonight: we're open 24/7 and we're often able to get out the same day, though we won't promise a time until we've looked at the schedule. We do the lifting, the loading, and the hauling.

How We Handle It

You get one firm number before we load anything, with no rush fee for the speed. Usable items go to local North Shore charities, recyclables get recycled, and we keep as much as we can out of local landfills. Call or text and a real person picks up, never an AI.

We also do curbside and driveway junk pickups, furniture removal, and appliance removal.

How Much Will This Cost?

Pricing is based on the space your load takes up in the truck, or on weight for heavy material. We give you a free, firm price in person before any work begins, and once you agree to it, it does not go up.

• $120 minimum pickup
• $70 to $100 per cubic yard
• Closer to $70 when it is light and easy to reach

For a very small job close to our Salem base we can sometimes bring the minimum down to $80 to $100, so it is worth asking. The minimum can also be higher for a job well outside our normal routes. See the full pricing page.

The Junk Heroes is a brother-owned and operated junk removal company rooted in Salem, MA. We live right on the line between Salem and Swampscott, two minutes from Vinnin Square, and we started this business because we wanted to run a junk removal service that showed up on time, treated customers like neighbors, and charged honest prices.

The Junk Heroes is an independent company that two brothers built and still run, with a crew of friends who haul alongside them, and we stand behind every job we do.

We do this by the book. We carry $2M in general liability, a $1M umbrella policy and $1M in commercial auto coverage. We are USDOT registered (USDOT 8843043), our drivers hold DOT medical cards, and we hold commercial accounts at the disposal facilities we use, so every load ends up where it is supposed to.
