Two Brothers, One Crew. One Mission.
We're Henrique and Filipe, the brothers behind The Junk Heroes in Salem. We started it to be useful where we live, and to build something of our own. We were also sure this work could be done a lot better. So we set out to prove it.
Why We Started This
We live right on the line between Salem and Swampscott, two minutes from Vinnin Square, so the people calling us are neighbors. We were young enough to put everything we had into this. The more people we talked to, the more we heard the same few complaints about the companies already doing this work. A time window would come and go with nobody turning up, or the price would climb once the truck was half loaded, or a crew would leave a mess behind on the way out. It did not sound like a hard bar to clear.
So we started with one truck and a lot of long days, and the work ethic our parents drilled into both of us. Turning up when we said we would was the easy part. The rest is what we actually care about. We sweep up before we leave, we answer the phone like people instead of reading off a script, and we go slowly through what we load, because in a house somebody has lived in for forty years there is almost always something worth keeping sitting in the wrong pile. We would rather stop and hand it back to you than let it end up on the truck.

Who You're Actually Dealing With
I'm Henrique, I'm 20, and I run the back end, so the scheduling and the logistics. When you call us a real person answers, never an AI and never an overseas call center. It is somebody on our team who I talk to every day and who can actually help you instead of taking a message. Filipe is 17, and he does most of the in-person quotes and makes sure the crew and the truck are ready before we ever pull into your driveway, which is why we are not the guys standing out front working out a plan while you watch.
We are fully licensed and insured, so you are covered from the first knock on the door to the last sweep of the floor. Plenty of people looked at how old we were and quietly assumed this would not last, which I understand and do not really hold against anybody. The 300+ five-star reviews on Google are a better answer than anything I could say here.
It is also not just the two of us anymore. The crew are friends we have known for years, and they are on most jobs with us.

Your home gets treated like somebody lives in it, because somebody does. We watch the walls and the doorframes on the way out, and we sweep up before we go.
Community Roots
There is no corporate office behind us, it is us and our crew and we live here too. Most of our work comes from somebody down the street telling a neighbor about us, and that is not something we would risk over one rushed job.
