Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
The Junk Heroes LLC ("The Junk Heroes," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through thejunkheroes.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you request a quote or contact us, including:
- Name, phone number, and service address
- Details about the job (the type and amount of junk, items to be removed, timeframe, and any notes you provide)
- For a property cleanout request, details about the property (property type, approximate square footage, whether it is occupied or vacant, your target date, and any access notes you give us, such as stairs, parking, an elevator or a lockbox)
- Email address, if you give us one on a form or contact us by email
We don't run analytics on the Site at this time, so we don't collect information about which pages you view or how you use the Site. See "Analytics & Cookies" below.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Prepare and send you a free quote
- Schedule and complete the junk removal or cleanout service you request
- Communicate with you by phone, text, or email about your request or appointment
- Improve our Site, service offerings, and customer experience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How Your Quote Request Is Handled
Quote and contact forms on this Site are processed through Netlify Forms, our website hosting provider's form-handling service. Submitted information is delivered to us and stored by Netlify on our behalf so we can respond to your request. See Netlify's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) for details on how they handle data.
Analytics & Cookies
We don't use Google Analytics or any other analytics service on the Site right now, and the Site sets no cookies. When a page loads, our hosting provider, Netlify, receives the basic technical information every browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver the page.
When you send a quote or property request, the Site saves a small note in your browser's session storage that records which form you sent and when. The thank-you page reads it to tell a real request from a direct visit, then deletes it. It holds nothing you typed into the form, and your browser clears it when you close the tab.
If we turn on Google Analytics (GA4) later, we'll use it to understand how visitors use our Site, which pages are viewed, how visitors found us, and general usage trends. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect your IP address, which we will configure to be anonymized. That information is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us. We'll update this policy and the date at the top of this page before we turn it on.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (opens in a new tab), or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings to block third-party cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) for more information.
Text Messages
If you text us photos or questions at 978-915-3399, we use that information only to respond to you and prepare your quote. We do not enroll you in automated or marketing text campaigns without your separate, explicit consent. Standard message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
How We Protect Your Information
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we receive, consistent with Massachusetts data security requirements (201 CMR 17.00). No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices & Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the information below. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA regarding the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, so no opt-out is necessary.
Children's Privacy
This Site is intended for use by adults seeking junk removal services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
