We do this by the book. We carry $2M in general liability, a $1M umbrella policy and $1M in commercial auto coverage. We are USDOT registered (USDOT 8843043), our drivers hold DOT medical cards, and we hold commercial accounts at the disposal facilities we use, so every load ends up where it is supposed to. What we ask, and what happens next
The form is four short screens, and here is what each answer tells us. What you're hauling tells us whether anything in the load needs special handling, like a mattress, a TV or a can of paint. How much there is gives us the volume, which is what the job is priced on. Where it is tells us about the access, so a third-floor walk-up isn't quoted like a driveway, and whether the job is well outside our normal routes. When works for you tells us where the job fits in the week. Your name and number tell us where to send the quote.
Once it's in, we read it and come back with a number. Monday to Saturday between 8am and 5pm we usually reply within 5 minutes, evenings and early mornings within 1 to 2 hours, and Sundays within 30 minutes, when same-day pickup is usually open.
We price by volume, meaning the space your load takes up in the truck, with a $120 minimum. What comes back off the form is an estimate. Your firm price is set in person before we start, and once we give you that number it does not change. When the job is done you can pay by cash, card, check, Venmo, Zelle or Cash App.
